The Foundation for Southeast Texas is a nonprofit, 501©3, community foundation that has financially supported the nonprofits in Hardin, Jefferson, and Orange counties for more than 25 years. To support this work, we will hold our second annual fundraiser on September 21st.
The Foundation is fundamental to SETX because of the number of nonprofits we serve and the dollars that go back into the community. For example, we have served more than 500 nonprofits through grants totaling $12,161,686.69 since we started in 1996. In 2022 alone, $821,873.83 was given back to the community through grants to 138 nonprofits. None of this would be possible without our sustainers and donors.
To ensure our fundraiser’s success, we are strategically partnering with local businesses that represent our community well, share our values, and ultimately want to build a lasting relationship with the Foundation. With the purchase of an auction item, you are not just supporting one nonprofit, but the entire community of nonprofits in Southeast Texas.Â
